As you are aware that vacuum in condenser of power plant plays a vital role in energy consumption i.e.
As vacuum in condenser is directly related to scale deposition, hence, if condenser tubes remain scale free, the vacuum in condenser shall remain high i.e. around 0.1 ate and constant value in this connection, we wish to introduce a proven technology of SCALE-BAN™ equipment which will give you the following savings which is just impossible with any other technology for cooling water treatment:
              Zero scale in condensers and other coolers.
              Constant vacuum of 0.1 ate in condenser giving maximum efficiency.
              in addition to above, there is reduction of more than 25% - 30% water consumption in cooling tower.

SCALE-BAN™ Equipment is online non chemical water treatment equipment which is fitted just before condenser and coolers in inlet cooling water line.

  We have installed SCALE-BAN™ equipment at various power plants ranging from 2.75 MW to 490     MW. All the Equipment have been performing very well on the aspects of water conservation with   zero scaling.

The savings achievable by installing SCALE-BAN™ are as under:-
1.             RO REJECT, ETP TREATED, RIVER & BORE WELL water can be used as make up water in cooling tower to achieve substantial saving in water while reducing the load to effluent treatment plant.
2.             As our equipment is tested to run at very high hardness and TDS in cooling tower without any risk of scale deposition, cooling tower can run at high COC of 15 TO 20 as against 3 to 5 with conventional treatment, so blow down from cooling tower becomes negligible.
3.             Water consumption in cooling tower is reduced by more than 25%-30% and fresh water consumption can be brought down to negligible (As RO reject & ETP treated water can be used as make up water).
4.             Elimination of use of Softener & anti-scaling chemicals from cooling tower.
5.             There is GUARANTEED ZERO SCALE in condenser and other coolers.
6.             Vacuum in condenser in power plant remains constantly on higher side (0.1 ate) which gives good efficiency of plant and maintained specific steam consumption (SSC) [less coal consumption].
7.             No Shutdown of plant is required for cleaning of condenser tubes in power plant.
8.             Due to repeated cleaning of the hard scales in tubes with rod, the tube surface becomes weak and prone to leak. Any leakage in condenser/cooler causes shutdown of minimum three days.
9.             Ours is a fit and forget equipment having a guaranteed maintenance free life of 20 years consuming no power.

Distillery:-

Dairy / Cold Storage / A.C. Plants:-
              constant  cooling of ammonia / Freon gases.
              Reduced power construction of compressors due to constant pressure.

              No Softening Plants is required hence recurring expenses for softening saved.
              De-scaling chemicals are not required cooling water.
              as our equipment is tested to run at high hardness (10000 ppm) and TDS (40000 ppm) in cooling tower without any risk of scale deposition, cooling water can be run at high COC of 25 to 30 as against 5 to 7 with conventional chemical treatments, so blow down from cooling tower is negligible.
              No shutdown of plant is required for cleaning of Heat Exchanger / Condensers because of Zero scaling.
              Due to repeated cleaning of the hard scales in tubes with rod, the tube surface becomes weak and prone to leakage, which is avoided due to Zero Scale.
              SCALE-BAN™ is fit and forget equipment having a guaranteed maintenance free life of 20 years consuming no power.
              ETP load significantly reduced.
